The 17-Day Diet - Cycle Two - Day 11

Slowly but surely, a little more weight is gone. Honestly, this is the point where I want to give up -- weight isn't coming off as easy and it's less fun to step on the scale. I'm not giving up yet (but I kind of want to).

I'm a little afraid of Super Bowl Sunday. So far, the menu consists of pizza, chips, cheese dip and cocktails. However, I made myself some homemade hummus and have my air popcorn popper ready. I'll really try to stick to the healthier stuff. As bad as I just want to gorge myself on the fatty foods, I don't want to be mad at myself on Monday.

Do you have any favorite healthy snack foods?
Here's tomorrow's higher-calorie menu.

Breakfast:
  • Kefir smoothie (blended with 1 C berries)
  • 1 cup green tea
Lunch:
  • Plenty of broiled hamburger
  • 1 medium baked potato
  • 1 cup green tea
Dinner:
  • Plenty of roasted turkey breast
  • Steamed asparagus
  • Tossed salad with 1 T olive oil mixed with 2 T vinegar and seasonings
  • 1 cup green tea
Snacks:
  • 6 oz. sugar-free, fruit-flavored yogurt
  • 1 medium orange
Starting weight: 158.4
Current weight: 148.2
