Chalkboard Paint

When I was little, my mom would dress us up for Halloween in homemade costumes and take us trick-or-treating. One year I remember being a painter and using an empty paint can as my candy bag. When I saw this cute, simple paint-bucket candy bag on hgtv.com, it took me back. I could definitely see this being something my mom would’ve made for my sister and I.

Get the full how-to here.

Chalkboard paint can be used for so many other DIY projects. I've seen it used to paint:
- a wall in a child's play room
- a framed mirror
- kitchen cabinets (outside or inside)
- a kids dresser to label the drawers
- lots more!
